Our Story

Our Vision
The vision for Metro Church was birthed in the hearts of Pastors Paul & Jo Geerling in 2003 and since then we’ve stood in amazement at the incredible things that God has done. 

In January 2004 Metro Church Brisbane was launched with a great team of enthusiastic & faith-filled people ready to have an impact on our city. 

Even in the early stages of our church, our vision was clear:

1. we would be a local church with congregations meeting each Sunday morning in the north, south, west and east
2. we would also be a citywide church with a gathering of people joining together from all over the city to declare God’s goodness and see many people saved
3. we would be an international church, bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations
